my child #!&% in the tub.

yes, that totally happened last night.

and i went all "mommy mode" and reached in and grabbed the nugget WITH MY BARE HAND! did you hear that?! no kitty litter scooper in sight [but that would require me to have a cat, and ew]. i didn't want my child floating around the tub with her water baby turd.

i thought i would be lucky enough to bypass this special stage in most childrens life, but big fat fail. at 7.75 months old, she has broke me. BROKE me i tell ya!

to be completely honest, i wouldn't reach in and pull my own poop out of the tub. i hope she feels lucky.

i was thisclose to taking a picture, but i figured that wasn't so much of a kodak moment that i want to stick in her baby book.

post summary: [my child is gross, my hand has magical powers and poop is still not cute even floating in two inches of water.]

  1. Ugh, I remember when my daughter did this. So nasty!!! I had to sterilize the tub and all her bath toys. I used a plastic cup to fish it out. BLUCK!

  2. Love your blog. Love your babes name, she is gorgeous. Love this post.

Isn't it true that having a baby morphs you into someone who doesn't mind boogers, poop, or barf, but only if it comes from your kid.

  3. AFLK:ALSKJD. Welcome to the club. Now, if you're lucky, she got it all out of her system (no pun intended) it won't happen again. But if she's anything like MY little tub pooper, I foresee a lot of poo scoopage in your future.
